Who we are
Meet Amy Swigart M.S.
With over 35 years of experience as a Behavioral Specialist and Mental Health Therapist, I have had the privilege of consulting with placement facilities, specialized programs, and juvenile courts across the United States. My extensive background in both Juvenile Justice and Mental Health provides a depth of knowledge and practical experience that allows me to effectively support children, adolescents, and the families who care for them.
I strongly believe that children and teens experiencing challenging behaviors must be treated within the context of the family system. True, lasting change happens when the entire family is supported, educated, and equipped with the right tools. Over the years, I have developed a highly effective approach designed specifically for families who are struggling daily with complex behavioral and emotional challenges.
I am internationally recognized for my work with Reactive Attachment Disorder and provide specialized interventions, education, and consultation in this area. I also have extensive experience addressing severe regressive behaviors, including coprophagia and fecal/urine-related behaviors. My clinical work includes supporting children and adolescents facing trauma, anxiety, depression, intermittent explosive disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, impulse control challenges, and conduct disorder.
If your child is struggling at home, at school, or in the community, you do not have to navigate it alone. I am here to provide compassionate, structured, coaching, and experienced support to help your family move toward stability, understanding, and healing.
My mission is to bring tranquility, laughter, and love into your home, through support, education and team planning to meet your family's unique needs.
“The most wasted of all days is one without laughter” - Amy Swigart M.S.
